A rendering will not show how the structural joints fit together, what the façade looks like up close, or how precisely it has been constructed prefabricated components. Everything is exactly where it actually stands, and you can judge the quality for yourselves.
This isn’t a showroom, a scale model or an online catalogue, but a real building site. At the event, visitors will see a specific modular house, at a stage that allows us to assess the construction, insulation and fitting details. In other words, exactly what isn’t visible in the photos in the folder.
Where can I see a modular home in person?
We usually organise open days once a month and in a different location each time. We are building modular homes throughout Poland, so it isn’t a fixed point on the map, but rather an event that moves along with our projects. This means that each time we showcase a different project, a different floor area and a different stage of work. So, as you can see, it’s not a „model” show home, but a living structure with its practical solutions.
The exact address, opening hours (usually 10.00–15.00, on Saturdays and Sundays), floor area and the basic house design are listed on the website Open Days. If the time doesn’t suit you, or if you’d prefer a one-to-one meeting, you can arrange one directly with our team.
What you’ll see when you get there
On site, you have access to details that are easy to overlook during a phone call or when looking at visualisations. You can take a close look at quality of prefabrication. In other words, how the walls, ceilings and roof trusses have been constructed, and what the structural joints themselves look like – the ones that are later concealed by the finishing work. You’ll see the actual façade, the window frames and the installation details as they appear once the work is complete.
When you’re standing in the middle of the room, you’ll also get a different sense of scale and proportion. Floor plans rarely convey how a space actually feels. Is the living room as big as it looked on the plan, and does the bedroom have enough room for everything it was supposed to? You’ll want to ask about smart home solutions and heat recovery. And you could ask directly about the timeframe: how long did it actually take to build this particular house, from the delivery of the modules to the shell stage?.
When you visit, you’ll meet our advisers, Iza and Radek. They’re the ones to ask about costs, the timetable and whether your idea can be translated into modular technology. Seeing a completed project first-hand gives you the confidence that the decision to build a house is based on facts.
How to prepare for open days
A visit to Wascovilla Open Days You’ll get the most out of it if you come prepared with specific details. It’s worth having the plot’s basic details to hand – dimensions, access information, and, if you already have them, an extract from the local plan or planning conditions. The adviser will then be able to tell you straight away what to look out for with that specific plot, rather than speaking in general terms. If you’re thinking of a specific floor area or room layout, make a note of it beforehand. It’ll then be easier to relate the property being shown modular house for your own needs. - What does the warranty cover in terms of the structure, and what does it cover in terms of the other work?.
- What additional costs are there apart from the price quoted – the foundation slab, connections, and transport of the modules to my address?.
Are you coming with a finished design?
Some visitors have a ready-made house design from an external firm and asks whether it can be built using modular technology. Our advisers are prepared for such questions and will be happy to provide any information you may require.
