Warm window installation

Warm window installation is a window installation method, the aim of which is to ensure maximum tightness and thermal insulation of the connection between the window and the wall. Unlike traditional installation, in which the window is set only on polyurethane foam, warm installation uses a three-layer system.

On the inside, vapour-proof tapes are used to prevent moisture from penetrating into the installation gap. In the middle layer, thermal insulation foam is used to ensure proper sealing and limit heat escape. On the outside, on the other hand, vapour-permeable tapes or special foils are installed. These protect against rain and wind, while allowing water vapour to escape to the outside.

Such a solution makes it possible to eliminate thermal bridges in the reveal area, reduces the risk of moisture in the insulation materials and improves the durability of the entire joinery. Warm fitting is particularly recommended for energy-efficient and passive buildingswhere the reduction of heat loss and a high level of occupant comfort are important. It makes it possible to meet the requirements of building regulations regarding thermal insulation.

Warm installation also makes it possible to reduce heating and air conditioning costs over the entire life cycle of the building.
