Ventilated façade

Ventilated façade - a system of finishing the exterior walls of a building which is characterised by leaving a space between the insulation layer and the exterior façade cladding. This space allows air to flow freely, which allows moisture to escape from the interior of the wall and provides a better thermal insulation. This provides the building with better protection against dampness and keeps the interior temperature more stable.

Ventilated façades are often used in buildings with modern architecture and the outer layer can be made of different materials such as metal panels, ceramics, wood or composites.
