Structural timber class C24 is a high quality coniferous timber used in the construction industry, characterised by a certain strength and load resistance. Grade C24 means that the timber has undergone rigorous selection for strength, with a minimum bending strength of 24 MPa.
Wood of this grade is chamber-dried to ensure adequate moisture content, and is planed and four-sided planed. C24 is often used in load-bearing structuressuch as roof trusses, floor joists or frame structures.
