Stretch ceiling

Stretch ceiling is another way of saying modern false ceiling. It consists of a flexible membrane (film or fabric) stretched over special mounting profiles fixed along the perimeter of the room. The membrane, usually made of PVC or polyester, is cut to size. It is stretched in such a way that it forms a perfectly smooth, even surface.

Characteristics of a stretch ceiling:

  • smooth and aesthetically pleasing surface, available in different colours, textures and finishes (matt, gloss, satin),
  • the possibility of creating unusual shapes (curves, waves, 3D constructions),
  • quick and clean installation, no sanding or painting required,
  • the possibility of integrating lighting, ventilation or audio systems,
  • good resistance to moisture and condensation - making it also suitable for bathrooms and kitchens.

The stretch ceiling is appreciated for its modern appearance, durability and ease of maintenance. It is a solution used not only when it comes to single-family housesbut also in hotels, restaurants, shopping malls and offices, where interior aesthetics play a special role.
