Epoxy resin is a synthetic polymer with a very wide range of applications in construction, industry and technology. Known for its high adhesion, mechanical and chemical resistance. It is formed by reacting an epoxy resin with a hardener, resulting in a material with high hardness and dimensional stability. It can be used alone or as a component of composites, adhesives and protective coatings.
In the construction industry, epoxy resin is used, among other things, for industrial flooring, anti-corrosion coatings, structural reinforcement and the injection of cracks in concrete. Resins are distinguished by their resistance to abrasion, water, oil and many chemicals. As a result, they ensure the durability of the components even in difficult operating conditions. An additional advantage of epoxy resins is the possibility of colouring and achieving decorative effects, making them a material that combines technical and aesthetic functions.
