Replacement project is a technical documentation developed to replace part or all of a previously approved design, when there is a need for changes resulting from new circumstances, the investor's requirements, errors in the original design or the need to adapt it to current technical, legal or financial conditions. It is used in construction, industrial, technological and other technical projects. It includes changes in the structural layout, materials, technologies, installations or function of the object, while maintaining compliance with the applicable regulations and permits.
The replacement design includes:
- description of the modifications in relation to the original design,
- updated drawings,
- technical specifications and calculations,
- explaining the reasons for change.
The introduction of a replacement design may require re-approval by the relevant administrative authorities if the changes affect the compatibility of the investment with the previous permits.
