Prefabricated wall panel

Prefabricated wall panel

Prefabricated wall panel a prefabricated wall structural element manufactured in a prefabrication plant, mainly used in modular and frame construction. It consists of load-bearing layers (usually wooden posts or frames), thermal insulation, vapour barrier and external and internal sheathing. It can be factory-fitted with windows, fittings and prepared penetrations for electrical or sanitary installations.

Prefabricated wall panel reduces construction time, ensures repeatable quality and minimises the risk of execution errors on site. Depending on the project, they are available as external load-bearing walls, internal partition walls or loft gable walls. Thanks to production under controlled conditions, they are characterised by high dimensional accuracy and compliance with the design documentation.

Installation of panels is carried out using a crane and usually takes from a few hours to one day. This technology allows construction to be carried out regardless of weather conditions and reduces the amount of time crews are on site.
