Modern construction increasingly relies on solutions to speed up projects without compromising the quality of construction. In this context, a major role is played by roof trusses<\/a><\/strong>, which replaces traditional trusses made directly on site. Thanks to prefabrication, most of the construction work is done in advance in the factory. The prefabricated elements are delivered to the construction site and only need to be assembled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prefabrication speeds up roof construction<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Why roof trusses shorten time needed to build the roof<\/strong>? With traditional roof trusses, most of the work is done on site. The construction elements have to be cut, fitted and connected on site. This requires time and an experienced carpentry team, and the whole process can take several days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trusses work on a completely different principle. The structure is created beforehand in a prefabrication plant on the basis of a detailed technical design. The individual elements are prepared with great precision and then joined together usually using stud plates. Thanks to this the finished trusses are delivered to the construction site as a complete roof structure<\/strong>, prepared for rapid assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are steel connectors with pressed spikes, which penetrate the wood under pressure from the press and permanently fasten the construction elements together. As a result, the joints are formed very precisely and all trusses have repeatable dimensions and parameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assembly of structures instead of building from scratch<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the biggest advantages of prefabricated trusses is installation on site<\/strong>. Unlike a traditional roof truss, there is no need to build the structure step by step directly on the roof. Finished trusses<\/a><\/strong> are transported to the construction site and set up on the load-bearing walls of the building at specific intervals. Once they are fastened in place, a complete roof construction system is created. The whole process is considerably faster than with classic carpentry construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In many cases installation of roof trusses can be completed within one working day<\/strong>. This means that the building very quickly reaches the stage where the roof structure is closed, allowing a smoother transition to subsequent construction work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
