This parameter specifies the forces that the connections can safely transmit without risk of damage, deformation or loss of structural stability. This applies, amongst other things, to bolted, nailed, welded and glued connections, as well as those made using mechanical fasteners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Properly designed connections are crucial to the durability and safety of the entire structure. In practice, it is often the connections that determine the actual strength of the structure, as they transfer loads between the individual load-bearing elements.
