The action is designed to transfer loads and ensure the stability of the entire building. \"In timber frame and modular construction, contractors most commonly anchor the sub-frames, module frames or floor slabs to the foundation slab using steel chemical or mechanical anchors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adequate anchorage protects the structure from horizontal displacements and wind suction forces, and also ensures proper transfer of imposed loads to the ground. <strong>Anchoring design<\/strong> should be in accordance with the technical documentation and take into account the local ground conditions, wind zone and type of foundation.
