Drywall system

Drywall system is a finishing and construction technology. Its structural and finishing elements are installed without the use of traditional wet mortars (such as concrete, plaster or cement adhesive). The main material used in this technology is gypsum plasterboard (G-K) or gypsum-fibre board. They are fixed to a steel or wooden grid using screws.

The drywall system is used for, among other things:

  • construction of partition walls,
  • suspended ceilings,
  • roof slope and attic development,
  • levelling walls and ceilings,
  • creation of recesses, wardrobes, installations, backlighting.

Advantages of the drywall system:

  • quick installation,
  • no need for long drying times,
  • clean and precise technology,
  • can be easily modified or dismantled,
  • good acoustic and thermal insulation (with suitable fillings, e.g. mineral wool).

Drywall systems are used in projects such as "construction of a dwelling house", as well as in commercial construction. Especially where short lead times and a high aesthetic finish are important.
