Pitched roof

Pitched roof is a common roof type, consisting of two sloping roof slopes that meet at the gable along the ridge. Each slope falls to the opposite side of the building, forming triangular-shaped gable walls on the sides. The pitched roof is valued for its simple construction, efficient drainage of rainwater and snow and ease of construction. Due to its form, it performs well in a variety of climatic conditions.
